a is for avocados which are a snack and a beauty product.
b for bananas to eat in the morning when you feel queasy.
c for carrots to put in birthday cake with creamy frosting.
d for durian; this is the home for information about the King of Stinky Fruits.
e is for eggplant which is pretty but has such a wierd texture you have to cook it in something else.
f is for feijoa, a fruit I discovered last year.
g is for green chile which makes you sexier and smarter.
h is for herbs, like thyme, basil, and dill.
i is for iceberg lettuce which is evil. You should never use it.
j is for jicama and jerusalem artichokes, neither of which I can figure out how to use. Any ideas?
k is for kale which is not yummy but is very decorative.
l is for lemons from which you can make heavenly desserts.
m is for mangos which are great in dressings, even when they're not ripe.
n is for nuts which liven up cookies.
o is for onions of course.
p is for pumpkins, which you can use in things besides pies if you feel the need.
q is for quince which can be substituted for apples and always baffle the cashier.
r is for roasted red peppers. Mmmmm.
s is for spinach in spanikopita.
t is for tomatoes which have gotten very expensive I think.
u is for unusual fruits.
v is for vinegar and the wonderful effect it has on vegetables.
w is for wasabi and picked ginger which are good for snacks, not just sushi.
x is for xtra hot chiles which will suprise people if you use them right.
y is for I yam what I yams.
z is for zucchini which is only tolerable in muffins.
