the true story of how the race of men received the
heavenly fire.

There are certain themes that storytellers return to again and again: the tale of the holy quest, the tale of love victorious, the tale of good triumphant, the tale of how the world came to be.

Tales of the Dark
scary scary house of beef

Hope springs eternal
The search for love in a morally ambiguous world.

Great epic storytellers, like Homer, Joyce, and Lucas, have used these themes to create works which, although the elements may differ, resonate in the soul of every person. Here are a few of my favorite bedtime stories, which refer to these great dramas of the human spirit.
