Behind the Scenes at KUNM |

1uffakind.com built the KUNM website yea, these many years ago. I finally agreed to come on board as an informational designer & trainer. This is a tricky one, because the website needs to express many diverse voices, including volunteers, listeners, and staff, to a worldwide audience. Would you believe the fastest-growing segment of listeners has been in Asia? Of course you would.
So I've been working with all the various stakeholders to find out what the needs and goals of each contributing audience are, and running massive evaluations to find out what the needs and expectations of the visitors are. Meanwhile, I've been improving the workflow through training and redesigned tools for all the contributors. It's all very interesting, and we're slowly rolling out the new, improved kunm.org, from the back end forward.
