The mothership: extensive website covers recreation opportunities on all public lands in 13 western states. I love this site and hate it. I may spend the rest of my life making it perfect.
I came into this project after the first state had been developed, began developing content, and have eventually taken over as webmistress, guiding the growth and content. I coordinate the programmers, designers, and administrators; research, write, and edit; develop the online bookstore; develop base map material and organize geospatial data; maintain the site; coordinate with federal and state agencies; cross-reference the database; market the site; provide customer service and tech support. California, here I come!
